With the start of deregulation process of electricity market and recent system changes, electricity trade has accelerated. Subscribers reaching the consumption level that is determined by EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Board) got right to choose their own suppliers as “Eligible Consumer”. In parallel with the activation of sector, Eksim Energy organized a separated department called “Electricity Market Department” under group structure in order to perform electricity trade operations more successfully and to sell electricity generated by its own renewable energy plant portfolio through Eksim Electricity Energy Import Export and Wholesale Trade Corporation. In the scope of electricity market department operations, demand and price forecasts, production planning, pricing, sale, reconciliation with risk and portfolio management, and invoicing operations are performed.
